2021 Rosé was made from a combination of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Counoise from the Windmill Vineyard in the Dunnigan Hills, Barbera from the Muller Vineyard in the Dunnigan Hills, and Syrah grapes from the Hurley Vineyard in Napa Valley. All three vineyards are farmed organically.
The fruit is grown specifically for rosé, so fruit is harvested very early, barely past veraison, similar to the level of ripeness for sparkling wine, so that it is high-toned, crisp, and refreshing. The wine has citrusy aromas, bright acidity and clean red berry flavors.
