This cuvée was only produced in 2019, a single variety Macabeau coming from an abandoned vineyard, with the farmer intending to remove the vines the following year.
10 days maceration on skins, with the majority of aging in tank, and a small proportion in barrel. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, with no additives.
Aromas of white stone fruit and florals, lanolin, and apple. Savory and earthy undertones with lemon peel and hints of ripe stone fruit. Beautifully fresh and well-balanced, with structure and depth.
