This pure Nerello Mascalese comes from Cornelissen's cru in contrada Monte Colla. An extremely steep and terraced vineyard, beautifully exposed to sun and wind and right in front of mount Etna. Fruit is destemmed and gently pressed. 50-day spontaneous fermentation in epoxy tanks with indigenous yeasts before aging in epoxy tanks. Bottled unfiltered with very minimal sulfur.

The sandy clay soil and the old-vine Nerello Mascalese, planted in 1946, produces a rich and powerful wine, maintaining grace and elegance. Intense minerality, aromas of red flowers and fruit, and a long, complex finish.
