Belluard Ayse Le Feu Gringet 2019

Belluard is a 10-acre estate located in Ayse, a commune in Savoie, France. The family has been making wine since 1947. Dominique Belluard had worked these intensely steep and difficult vines from 1988 until his death in June 2021.

This wine is 100% Gringet - Domaine Belluard has about half of the Gringet planted in the world. The domaine practices organic and biodynamic viticulture, uses no pesticides or herbicides in the vineyard and no additives in the winemaking process. "Le Feu" comes from a biodynamically-farmed single vineyard of Dominique Belluard's oldest, low-yielding Gringet vines planted on steep, iron-rich slopes at 450m above sea level. Domaine Belluard has about half of the Gringet planted in the world.

Great concentration of aromas and flavors. Aromas of wild herbs, verbena, and orange peel. On the palate, fleshy peach, stone, sage, honey and citrus, all balanced with excellent acidity.
