Type: Orange Wine
Grape: Gewurtraminer/Pinot Gris/Riesling
Organic/biodynamic farming. Grapes are hand harvested, destemmed, and fermented with indigenous yeast and zero sulfur. The varieties are vinified separately, and spend about 18 days macerating on the skins. Elevage on the fine lees for 11 months in traditional large Alsatian foudre. The wine is blended a day before being bottled unfined and unfiltered, with no added sulfur.
Cloudy, with a spicy, funky nose of springtime flowers. Electric acidity and notes of savory citrus, brandied stone fruit, sea salt and wildflowers.
