Type: White Wine
One of the coolest single vineyards in Loiben, this sustainably-farmed single vineyard is located on the eastern end of Wachau, between the Loibenberg and Pfaffenberg sites. It is a small valley section composed of a deeply deposited, weathered gneiss soil. The resulting wine shows off aromas and flavors of vineyard peaches and impresses by its raciness and finesse. It is succulent and displays high drinkability, and is most distinctly characterized by the minerality of the primitive rock soil.
This complex wine is intense and flinty, with its concentrated white peach and lime aromas. Full-bodied, precise, super pure and minerally on the palate, this is a full-bodied, tight, fresh and serious wine with a long and tensioned finish.
