Type: White Wine
Grape: Gruner Veltliner
Winemaker Christina Netzl makes this wine in the cool-climate winemaking region of Carnuntum, in Lower Austria. Once ripe, whole bunches are fermented spontaneously in steel during a long cold winter.
Christina is medium-bodied, dry, and a bit cloudy, with a nice cut of apple, stone fruit, and pepper. The complex finish has a delicate balance of fruit, mineral, and acid. Fresh and invigorating. This organic wine is made using native yeast, with no filtering or fining, an very little sulfur added.
